AtlasIED Atmosphere A-RCA

The AtlasIED Atmosphere A-RCA is an intelligent RCA/3.5mm audio input that easily adds external audio sources to the Atmosphere DSP platform. Designed for professional installations where ease of use, flexible placement and reliable integration are key, the A-RCA allows local devices such as media players, laptops or other line sources to be connected to an Atmosphere AZM audio system.

Thanks to its plug-and-play architecture, the A-RCA is automatically recognized by the Atmosphere system. The input works similarly to the AZM processor’s built-in RCA inputs and can automatically assign appropriate audio settings such as gain, EQ and auto gain control to the input. The stereo inputs are internally merged into a mono signal before being sent to the AZM.

The A-RCA communicates via the Atmosphere Accessory Bus, transmitting power, data and digital audio over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable. Multiple accessories can be easily looped through, reducing installation time and providing flexibility for larger projects. Up to eight Atmosphere accessories can be connected per accessory port over a total cable length of up to 305 meters. One audio input accessory can be used per accessory port.

With its standard Decora format, the A-RCA integrates seamlessly into modern commercial installations such as offices, hospitality, educational institutions, healthcare environments, retail projects and hospitality applications.
