The AtlasIED SB36W is a premium studio boom stand with variable, piston-type air-suspension for added microphone protection. The stand features a chrome finished tube and chrome shell on the base, with a triangular cast metal base in black epoxy for maximum stability. The ball-bearing, quiet swivel casters provide frictionless, anti-vibration mobility in studio, broadcast and on stage. Height range: 49″-73″ (124.5-185.4 cm).
The two-piece horizontal boom measures 62″ (157.5 cm) long and features an adjustable 6 lb (2.72 kg) counterweight for precise, secure balancing. The wear-resistant, three-piece clutch offers quick, noiseless adjustment, and 5/8″-27 threads accept all common microphone holders and adapters.
