With 120W with a frequency range from 45 Hz and maximum sound pressure of 116 dB, the KU44 provides a solid foundation for full-range installations, despite its minimalist size. Two 4″ woofers combined with 4″ passive radiators provide a tight and musical low, perfectly suited within line array applications.
Thanks to its selectable impedance (8 Ω / 32 Ω), the KU44 is particularly flexible in multi-zone and large-scale installations. In 32 Ω configuration, up to eight subwoofers can be driven from a single amplifier channel, resulting in efficient cabling and clear system construction. Combined with K-Array Kommander amplifiers and associated presets, the result is a perfectly balanced system that effortlessly matches any K-Array mid-high loudspeaker.
The all stainless steel 5.9 kg enclosure makes the KU44 rugged and reliable for demanding indoor and outdoor installations. The slim line-array format and various mounting accessories allow the subwoofer to be discreetly placed next to or behind K-Array line-array loudspeakers, with maximum impact and minimal visual presence.
