With a wide 140° horizontal and vertical spread pattern and a frequency range of 500 Hz to 18 kHz, the KZ1 offers a clear, detailed soundstage with excellent speech intelligibility. Its maximum sound pressure of 86 dB (peak) is impressive for a speaker of this size, allowing it to function effortlessly as a subtle mid-high source in aesthetically sensitive environments. The KZ1 comes standard in semi-matte black or white, but can be fully customized in any RAL color or in luxurious premium finishes such as polished aluminum, 24K gold, rose gold or antique gold. A magnetically removable front grille provides direct access to the mounting points, making installation and maintenance particularly efficient. To guarantee a full frequency spectrum, the KZ1 should always be combined with a Truffle or Rumble subwoofer and driven by a K-array Kommander amplifier with dedicated presets.
